The Robotics Engineering Curriculum (REC) is the superior choice to teach engineering to students.
Superior Robotics Curriculum: REC Semester 1 is part of a two-year curriculum, and is sold by itself, with semester two, or as a full two-year package. The first semester is approximately 75 hours of curriculum on 6 CDs, and it includes a Teachers Guide CD that allows easy access to extra resources.
Hands-On Learning: REC requires no prior knowledge and utilizes animations, videos, and activities to give the student a complete step-by-step introduction into robotics. The students learn how to build their first robot with the Vex Design System, then learns how to program that robot using easyC v2.0. The curriculum uses the robot to teach about physics, sensors, and robotic arms. It culminates in a capstone project that challenges what they have learned in a classroom competition!
The curriculum links to competencies in SCANS, ITEA, and the Atlas of Science Literacy, and was created with the help of FIRST team mentors, WPI faculty, standards experts, math and science teachers, and intelitek engineers.
The intelitek REC Program includes: REC Content, easyC v2.0 for 30 Students. Hardware and materials are not included. If you are interested in our REC Package for 30 students, please click here.
